Esther 5-7

The supernatural providence of God comes to an absolute boil here in Esther Chapters 5 through 7, as the Lord orchestrates a sequential series of seamless events that just baffle the brain!  Only the sovereignty of God could orchestrate such a massive reversal in the fortune of God’s people with such pinpoint precision and effortless execution.  And shockingly, the Lord somehow uses the natural desires and temperaments of the characters as the very agents of orchestration!  Esther, Mordecai, Haman and Xerxes were never compelled to act contrary to their wills, and yet somehow did exactly as God’s sovereign purposes had planned.  The great comfort in the Sovereignty of God for the believer is this.  That no matter how dark the circumstance or how imperfect our execution, God’s good will for us is always done!  Get your Word on with us and find tremendous rest and safety and delight in Christ!
